Quick Update

Life has been busy these past few months.  Here's a quick update of what's been happening in our neck of the woods.

Sadie has been an inquisitive and curious little girl.  It has been a blast to watch her learn and grow.  Here she is learning about the organs in her body.

Ethan is also growing quickly.  We blessed him towards the end of March.

He's already about 13 lbs.  Crazy!

A few weeks ago, we had our family photos taken.  Thanks to Mandy's Studio for a great session.

We celebrated Easter at Grandma and Grandpa Forbush's house.  It was fun to watch Sadie play with cousins, pick up goodies during the hunt, and get visited by the Easter Bunny.

Some sad news, we said goodbye to my Granny Jensen a few weeks ago.  Although I miss her terribly, I know she is finally not in so much pain.  Granny was a great woman and I look forward to seeing her again.

Sadie with cousins, Autumn and Brekelle.

I've been busy making cakes.  My latest cake was for a graduation and I have a few more due in the next few weeks.

That's our life-busy and rewarding.

Ethan Ray

We have had an incredibly busy holiday season.  Sadie turned two last month and we went to Massachusetts for three weeks to celebrate Christmas.  So much has happened that I am not even going to attempt to sum it all up.  Instead, I am going to take a moment to announce the most exciting event from the past few months.

On January 15, Ethan Ray joined our family.  He was born at 4:58 pm, after a very quick labor and delivery.  Ethan weighed 7 lbs. 11 oz. and was 19 in. long.  His hair seems to be turning blond and his eyes look as though they will be blue.  Surprise, surprise.  Mom and baby are doing very well.  Sadie is the best big sister.  She comforts Ethan when he gets a clean diaper, burps him after he eats, and tries to read him stories when he's awake.

Here is a picture of Sadie turning two.  She had a party in Utah and one in Massachusetts, both Elmo themed.

Over Christmas, Sadie got to visit her Grampy at the fire station.  She had a ball!  This trip was just in time, because Grampy retired on Friday.  Congratulations!!!

This is a cake I made for Emily's baby shower.  Alex's sister has a baby girl due in February.  We can't wait to meet her.

We are enjoy life and our new little bundle of joy!
